Ron grew up in Virginia Beach (fun fact: he went to school with Pharrell Williams) where he says most of his influence to pursue a creative career came from skateboard stickers, music videos and the mall.
After receiving a graduate degree from the VCU Adcenter (now the Brandcenter) he moved to So Cal
to work for the Venice Beach office of Crispin, Porter + Bogusky among other boutique agencies in
San Diego and Los Angeles on accounts such as Activision, Baskin Robbins, Asics, Yamaha, Shimano, Ketel One, IKEA and Jack In The Box.
The Martin Agency was a homecoming for Ron where he created campaigns for Geico, ESPN, USTA, Walmart, BFGoodrich, and Hanes. Since moving to New York in 2012 he has held staff roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB, as well as freelance for Martin, McCann, Grey and more. He's spent the last couple years working on everything from beer to credit cards to smart phones.
Ron always tries to keep ideas simple, but he says sometimes the simplest solutions can be the hardest
to execute. He's a fan of communication that is foremost entertaining, but smart and honest. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two bulldogs who are a constant source of creative inspiration. In his free time he loves to DJ, cook, workout and obsess over Instagram filters. His favorite food is avocado.
