Ron grew up in Virginia Beach (fun fact: he went to school with Pharrell Williams) where he says most of his influence to pursue a creative career came from skateboard stickers, music videos and the mall.
He started his career in Southern California working for the Venice Beach office of Crispin, Porter + Bogusky among other boutique agencies in San Diego and Los Angeles on accounts such as Activision, Baskin Robbins, Asics, Yamaha, Shimano, Ketel One, IKEA and Jack In The Box.
The Martin Agency was a homecoming for Ron where he created campaigns for Geico, ESPN, USTA, Walmart, BFGoodrich, and Hanes. Since moving to New York he has held staff roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB, as well as freelance for TBWA/Chiat/Day, McCann, Grey and more.
Ron always tries to keep ideas simple, but he says sometimes the simplest solutions can be the hardest
to execute. He's a fan of communication that is foremost entertaining, but smart and honest. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two bulldogs who are a constant source of creative inspiration. In his free time he loves to DJ, cook, workout and obsess over Instagram filters. His favorite food is avocado.
